Our last mix on Radio 3-Fach, as well as this mix, paved the way for our electronic music journey into darker sets, later playtimes and more acid.
The selection is a homage to Berlin born Ellen Allien. Shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall, Ellen Allien joined the techno wave and still produces minimal and spherical music today. The tracks from 2017 and 2019 included in this set - "Innocence" and "Free Society" - speak for themselves. By talking about Berlin, we must mention our heroine “Dr. Rubinstein”. We listened to her set at “Case à chocs” in Neuchatel last autumn and are still dreaming of her great acid techno selection, her passion for vinyl music and her endless smile while DJing. Minimal and hard beats, but also elements of house, funk and gospel are part of the sound of the emerging, Detroit born, Lyric Hood. After collaborations with her father (Robert Hood), the in this set played track “11:44” is one song of her first solo EP in 2019 and we loooove it! Our set is ending with the track “Antipodes” produced by Noëmi (one half of ALÉLÉFI) with her close friend Kolleg Acid. It’s a gloomy, high energy, dance track sharing feelings of attraction and… what do you feel? Find out!
