I came back,
but somehow it still feels like I’m far away.
Isn’t this supposed to be home?
A place where memories live
where happiness once had a sound?
Or maybe it’s just a stranger returning,
someone trying to fit back
into the shape of what’s been deformed.
I don’t understand.
The music comes to me on its own.
I don’t go looking for it.
It arrives like memory
familiar,
almost tender,
as if I’ve been here before,
and yet not.
Each song carries a story
of what this place has become,
what it remembers,
what it has lost.
Between one radio and another,
from Al-Hara to 3FACH,
I keep moving, tuning in and out,
trying to find a signal
that feels like belonging.
But I’m not sure where that is anymore.
Music keeps me sane.
It reminds me that even when everything shifts
land, language, people, meaning
there’s something in the sound
that still connects.
Maybe that’s enough for now.
I let the music speak for my soul.
