Kater Isch Ome
Heute haben wir uns im Orient und im indischen Subkontinent aufgehalten. Zwei grossartige, junge Musikerinnen, Shalini Sekhar und Shruthi Veena Vishwanath aka The Road of the Wild Lily das gleichnamige Album am 1 August 2025 veröffentlicht.
Die Lieder auf dem Album sind inspiriert von verschiedenen Kulturen. Sie nehmen uns mit auf eine Reise durch Musik und Poesie aus Indien, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Syrien, der Türkei, Griechenland, Bosnien-Herzegowina und vielen weiteren. Das Album The Road of the Wild Lily bringt uns die Stimmen von Frauen und Menschen näher, die aus ihrer Heimat vertrieben wurden.
Im Album werden uns diverse Kulturen, näher gebracht dies von den beiden traditionellen Hindi Sängerinnen Shalini Sekhar und Shruthi Veena Vishwanath. The Road of the Wild Lily wirkt ein wenig wie ein Lichtblick, der denjenigen eine Stimme gibt, welche keine haben. Solche Projekte sind insbesondere wichtig, da die Konfliktsituationen im Orient noch immer unsere Aufmerksamkeit benötigen. Da weder Regierung, Medien und Gesetzte, die Menschen und dessen Rechte schützt.
